SH72394 Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 ‘Mersu Over Finland’ - boxart

Image
Just with a very slight delay, Standa Hajek has handed in his latest masterpiece, a boxart painting which is to adorn Special Hobby's SH72394 Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 ‘Mersu Over Finland’ kit. This piece of art depicts a Mersu flown by the Finlan's top scoring fighter pilot, luutnantti Ilmari Juutilainen who gained 94 victories during the war, becoming also a top scoring, non-German, pilot of the Axis. Along this Mersu, the kit will also contain decals for two other Finnish machines, a photo-etched fret, two styles of resin wheels and exhausts.

The decal sheet will cater for as many as three British options (one of which took to the air yet before the end of hostilities, the two others flew in immediate post war times), one Australian machine - in fact it was the Australia's very first jet fighter plane and one machine as flew in France.
