   As you might have already learnt from our July 2020 Newsletter, Special Hobby are releasing a brand new rendition of that fabulous Italian WW2 fighter plane, the Reggiane Re 2000. The only sprue to have some earlier origin is with the wings which can be traced back to a Classic Airframes kit, all the rest of the styrene items is whole new and it also needs to be stressed that the smaller details come from milled metal type moulds to offer excellent level of detail. The pre-cut masks and resin cast detail sets are to be available separately.        

    Today it makes us happy to share with our readers a couple of photos we have recently got from our UK friend Tony O'Toole, a famous modeller, author and aviation historian. He built SH's 1/72 Sunderland Mk.V SH72162 as PP117, 4X-W of 230 Sqn but in an earlier guise, still with its wartime roundels and before the upper surfaces were re painted MSG. Tony did magnificent job indeed, we hope you like his models as we do.    

   The previous installment of our regular monthly Newsletter brought the informantion about the delayed release of the ‘Uboat-Killer’ Sunderland Mk.III model kit. Now, we are happy to announce that the model is finally prepared to appear in the shops. More on this further in today’s newsletter. And this model alone is a guarantee that the coming summer will not be any sort of off-season.
