The Nuremberg Toy Fair also saw plenty of our new resin detail sets, among which the best selling are those designed for ICM's 1/48 B-26 Marauder and Academy/Acc.Miniature's TBF-3 Avenger in the same scale. And we are sure some other Marauder sets will follow soon as further collaboration with the ICM team has been successfully negotiated.

 Two more sets for the 1/48 B-26B/C Marauder model kit have been brought to our customers via the October Newsletter. These are the  4485  B-26B/C Marauder Waist Guns, Ammo Boxes and Feed, that portrays the interior of the fiuselage between the side windows. The set is composed with resin cast parts and those made on a 3D printer. The other one of today presented sets is the  4487  B-26B/C Marauder Dorsal Turret Upgrade Set. This one is made solely using the 3D printer and offers nicely detailed parts for the gunner turret on the upper fuselage The mg barrels are pointed upwards which is their most often seen position in period photos. The original kit, however allows you to build the model with the barrels in horizontal position.

The following rendered images show the  second of the detail sets designed for ICM's 1/48 B-26B Marauder kit. The set contains the nose machine gun on its frame mounting and the spent shell collector. The gun belt (which is not in the kit itself) goes from the ammo box to the gun.

ICM's new 1/48 Marauder will get a welcome series of SH detail sets, among which is also these wheel set and a spent shell cases collector. The wheels will also be downscaled to 1/72.

   Mr.Jaroslav Pomajzl has meticulously finished this 1/72 Hasegawa B-26 Marauder model. While the kit is a gem of its own, Jaroslav went the extra mile by using several CMK resin sets to turn the model into a real wonder. The sets were  7148 B-26 Interior , 7149 B-26 Exterior and 7151 B-26 Engine . The Marauder arguably was a very nice aircraft, Jaroslav's model is simply stunning and the sets bring it to next level.    A very big thank you for the photos.
