The model we would like to share with our readers has been built by Martin Pfeifer using the 1/32   SH32088  Westland Whirlwind FB MK.I ‘Fighter-Bomber’ Hi-tech kit  and is to be displayed at the next year's Nuremberg Toy Fair. The Whirlwind with its nose section panels removed to show to good advantage the four cannon armament is really a fabulous thing. What is more, Martin says that mostly owing to precisely designed and manufactured 3D-printed parts, the assembly was almost a piece of cake.

 Milan Zach of  The Merry Model Builders Club has recently finished this fabulous rendition of the final French fighter biplane, the Spad 510. The kit Milan used for his build was  Azur/Frrom FR0049 . This French contemporary of our indigenous Avia B.534 does possess a certain amount of elegance indeed. 

The Finnish version of our Aero A.11/12 family of Czechoslovak inter-war period observation biplanes is going to be released in January next year. This aircraft was powered by a Hispano Suiza engine, hence the HS abbreviation. The kit offers four colour schemes as flown far north in Finland, and often also with skis instead of more usual wheels. 

This December the 1/72 SH72418 SIAI-Marchetti SF-260 kit is getting back to our offer, yet with a new and as always fabulous boxart painted by Standa Hajek.

Last week an important step in the Azur/Frrom Fairey Battle project was achieved in the form of the first sprue test shot produced, featuring the wing and a few empennage parts. The model is to be reboxed by Special Hobby later too. The moulding tool does still need some polishing, but all in all, we are pretty happy with the result as is now...

The Merry Model Builder Club member Jan Šimon has built this eye-catching stripped and checquered  1/72 F-84F jet using the  SH72395  kit. We have to admit that the colourful scheme does suit the elegant shape of the Thunderstreak very well.
