1/32 Centaurus Engine Resin Set 5129 is a highly detailed resin set tailored for Special Hobby Tempest Mk.II kit SH32054 and is due for impending release. 5129 1/32 Centaurus engine for Tempest Mk.II - progress report

Image
A couple of days ago, our pattern master expert received the first set of resin samples of our 1/32 Centaurus engine replica and was obviously quite keen to assembly the parts together and test their fit into the Tempest Mk.II nose section. The result is astonishing, a life-like impression, isn't it? Just crank it up... The final set will also contain the (missing from the photos) cowl panels.

Today, we would like to bring to your attention our new and extremely detailed 1/32 scale resin replica of the Centaurus engine which is designed to fit the Tempest Mk.II kit in the same scale. The set will be available under catalogue number 5129. In the images below, you will be able to appreciate the levels of detail not just of the 3D design (in the rendered image) but most importantly on the 3D-printed prototype parts.

3D-designed CMK resin sets to be out soon

Image
More and more often, CMK team is using the latest 3D CAM/CAD technology while preparing the resin detail sets, Starting from the most simple ones all the way through to the most complex items. Today, let us show you our latest additions to the range of CMK 3D-designed sets. In the first image, the 1/72 Vampire wheels (set Q72313) is a nice example of the easy to use, straightforward replacements providing much higher levels of details, the second image represents the other end of the spectrum, the 1/32 Centaurus engine (designed for our Tempest Mk.II kit, its cat.no. not assigned yet) really being much more complex item.
