The S.E.535 Mistral was a French, licence-built Vampire jet, powered by a Nene engine. This type saw service just in mainland France and over French colonies, being combat-proven in French Morroco. The 1/72nd scale model of this fighter aeroplane was a turn-key project prepared by Special Hobby for our partners at Azur-Frrom and as a part of the deal a certain, limited number of the kit was allowed to appear also on the domestic market. Now it makes us happy to bring you the news that the Mistral has just been made available via our e-shop , so do not hesitate and make sure you secure yours before this unique version disappears. The kit comes on two sprues with original Vampire parts, it also contains a new sprue with the parts specific to the Mistral, a detailed resin cast hot seat and a decal sheet with markings for three options.

   Due to be released later this Spring is a 1/72 kit of the French take on the iconic DH Vampire, the S.E.535 Mistral. This model is curently being prepared as a turnkey project for our French partner, based on our earlier Vampire kit. As it always is with Azur-Frrom models, the complete production is bound to go to France exclusively, and only a limited bunch of kits will be released for Czech domestic market.    One of the marking options in the kit is machine 8-PB which you can see in the boxart painting, fabulously prepared by Standa Hajek.
