SH72472 Messerschmitt Bf 109E ‘Slovak and Rumanian Aces’ in 1/72 - improved colour schemes and an additional sheet of decals

Image
Not long after we had shown the Romanian and Slovak Emils schemes here on our blog, observant readers from Poland and Slovakia sent us a few comments on which we were happily able to improve the a bit wrong schemes as well as add some more decals on the additional, smaller sheet. The issue of the markings on Romanian Emils, and the duck motif in particular, is not as straightforward as we thought and than showed the materials we had at hand originally.

Resin sets to become available before the end of 2022

Image
From all the resin sets planned to become available before the end of 2022,  let us now focus on the Beaufort Mk.I sets for the 1/48 scale ICM kit. Let there be no mistake, ICM team have done pretty nice job with their Beaufort model, the only weak spot being its undercarriage wheels with wrong type of the hub, and also the a bit smallish tail wheel. So, our set will also contain a new tail wheel of the correct dimensions and a hardened tailwheel leg. The guys at ICM have also released a 1/32 scale Yak 9T model for which we are going to offer a new set of exhausts and undercarriage wheels. And the 3D files for these sets have also been downscaled to 1/48 and these sets will nicely fit the Zvezda's Yak 9D. As the latter kit differs in the construction from ICM's release, the 48 scale exhaust stubs are made separate and via the direct 3D print method. Wheels are resin cast.

SH72470 Junkers Ju 87D-3 - marking schemes and decal sheet - work in progress

Image
The upcoming SH72470 Junkers Ju87D-3 Stuka ‘Stuka Experten’ model covers three machines flown by dive bombing ace pilots of the Luftwaffe. Now we have for you the scheme options, not finished yet, as well as the decal sheet. This model will also contain a fret of photo etches, as all our previous Stukas did. What makes this model kit a bit more unique though is the 3D-printed siren propellers that Stukas had on the undercarriage spats.

SH48219 Bugatti 100 Racer in 1/48 - small parts test shot

Image
The small parts mould of the 1/48 scale Buggati Racer has been test fitted to the injection machine. And the outcome is quite good, considering it is the very first test shot. Some modifications to the mould have to be made of course, the prop blades suffer from undershot while some other parts have flashes on them. Nothing that could not get fixed, really. The snap below is taken just with my mobile as our photo guy is on a holiday tday. A.R.

FR0050 Spad 510 ‘At war’ and SH72136 Ju 87A ‘Anton in Luftwaffe Service’ - available again

Image
There is an agreement between us and Azur/Frrom of France that some (just a few really) of the models we produce for them (the development paid for by them) can be placed on the domestic market. Due to a failure at the printers, we got much smaller number of the 1/72  FR0050 Spad 510 ‘At war’  and it was not possible to make our batch available to Czech modellers. To fix the things a bit, do forgive us for making the FR0050 kit available in a bit different style box, just a plain white one with the boxart in the form of a sticker only. Well, the styrene items inside have been not affected, they are the very same really.  The same way has been also chosen in the case of the SH72136 Ju 87A Stuka ‘Anton in Luftwaffe Service’ 1/72 , the very last pieces of which are available just now and won't last long, believe me.

Image
Mr.Petr Zatras sent us a handful of images depicting his SMB-2 Super Mystere model built from   SH72345  SMB-2 Super Mystère 'Sa’ar – Israeli Storm in the Sky'. We hope Petr won't mind us quoting a few words from his email: "Sending some photos from the build of your 1/72 Super Mystere model. The kit is absolutely perfect, the fit is excellent overall, very wide range of ordnance, superb decals. Any mistake you spot is mine only. The colours used were Mr.Paint, and I also added some photo etched details from Eduard." Huge thank you Petr indeed for the praise and the photos. A.R.
