Our friend Mila Hraban has recently finished Special Hobby's SH32074 Fi 103A-1/Re 4 manned buzz bomb model and very kindly sent us a couple of images showing this model alongside his earlier built standard variety of the V-1 (SH32071 ).

Having already released the 1/32 scale Fi 103/V-1 Buzz Bomb model (SH32071), we simply had no other option than to come up with its manned version too. Although being almost identical at the very first glance, the Fi 103A-1/Re 4 Reichenberg differed hugely from its predecessor. Yes the pilot’s canopy is an unmistakable feature, but there were also the wings fitted with ailerons to name just the most obvious differences.   Yesterday, Special Hobby team managed to finish injection moulding the very last components and were able to start packaging and preparing the model for the customers. The other photos of today’s blog show the 1/72 Potez 25 clear parts moulding tool being milled and also the very last moulding tool of our upcoming 1/72 Sunderland project – the depth charges trolley mould and of course also another mould for the 1/48 Siebel which contains the floor and other interior components

Special Hobby toolmakers are working hard on our new models as you can see in the photos I took yesterday afternoon showing the almost finished wing mould for the 1/32 Fi 103A-1/Re-4 Reichenberg manned missile. And as I already had the camera in hand, I also photographed the 1/72 NF Meteor wing moulding tool which had just been taken out of her galvanic bath, still waiting to get proper polishing and finishing.    Among other SH new models scheduled for this October, you will also be able to acquire the 1/32 Fieseler Fi 103 / V-1. Two moulding tools have already been finished, the first test sprues produced from them are shown below. We have also managed to finsh the third moulding block with the kit's wings, but we won't be able to test this one until about two weeks from now.   Our team are also working on the manned version of this infamous German Wunderwaffe, the Fi 103R / V-1 Reichenberg and this model is to appear on hobby shop shelves in January 2019.
