Edouardo Rosso, a very nice modeller from Italy and a personal acquaintance of our production manager Mr.Riedel from the Telford show has shared with us and the readers of SH blog photos of his recently finished 1/48 Siebel Si 204D model. And as he has said, he was very happy with the kit. Just a pity the images are so small, perhaps because of Edouardo's home quarantine…

Siebel Si 204D/Aero C-3A kits in 1/48 scale have proven one of the best selling Special Hobby kits in 2019. To make the models even more detailed and life-like on your home museum shelf or more captivating while displayed at some upcoming model show, you can choose from a variety of resin detail sets and figures of mechanics maintaining the airframe. And there are some more sets our team are working on now, such as the set providing an open engine nacelle with the detailed power unit or another set with a figure of ground crew, now depicting a mechanic fixing the engine. Martin has recently built this 1/48 scale twin-engine Siebel for us. His model was displayed for the first time at the E-day, right beside another Siebel built by Martin's colleague M.Hraban. Both models must have hugely impressed the visitors and tempted them to literally buy all Siebels at stock at the show yet before noon.

Coming to the shops now is the first trio of nicely detailed resin sets that have been designed to improve our new 1/48 scale kits of the Siebel Si 204D / Aero C-3A (no. SH48170 resp. 48197). All these three sets have been prepared using 3D technology and were based on components of real Sie 204D / Aero C-3A airframe accessible in a nearby aviation museum.

Due to appear on hobby shop shelves this August are the first three CMK resin sets which have been designed to dramatically improve the detail levels of Special Hobby's 1/48 Siebel Si-204 model.

The decal sheet which you will find in our soon-to-come 1/48 Siebel Si 204D kit has just been successfully finished (what is even more interesting, by the senior member of Special Hobby staff, the Product Manager Alfred Riedel himself, which accounts for the utmost quality of this artwork) and the decals are now being printed by Italian Cartograf. The schemes in the kit offer three machines, two in the colours of the Luftwaffe and one as flown in Switzerland.
