News from Special Hobby 07/2025

Dear business friends, We had to postpone it twice but now we can finally offer you the long awaited 1/72 twin-engine Mosquito kits. We trust the kits will be successful and popular with modellers. We will gradually introduce other versions of this very interesting and historically significant plane. Equally attractive is the new P-40E reboxing we are planning for August. This time we picked American and Canadian planes from the Aleutian Islands, with attractive colour schemes. We are also working hard on new moulds for the 1/48 Heinkel He 177, and the moulds for the 1/72 DH.94 Moth Minor are almost done. There is also another reboxing of the 148 SMB-2 Super Mystère coming, this time with French markings. Since all of our 1/32 Tempest Mk.V kits are sold out, we are working on a new reboxing – it will offer the Tempest as V-1 hunter, and even as a radar version. SH48215 SIAI-Marchetti SF-260EA/D/EU ‘ Late Bulged Canopy Type’ in 1/48 - close up box contents

A new SF-260 light trainer now in the  EA/D/EU   versions is among our July new relreases. And as the title suggests yes the canopy is of a different shape and so you might also enjoy using our new pre-cut canopy masks, set no.  M48024 . The earlier SF-260 AM/M/W release, model kit no.  SH48207  had its canopy hood quite flatter. To the Late release, we would also recommend these sets:  4480 , 4481 and  4482 .

 Currently re-released 1/72 scale  SH72499 Wellington Mk.IC kit will benefit from this resn cast wheel set no.  7524  that not only consists of the wheels themselves but also features a nice and strong 3D-printed tail wheel leg.
