Image
The Portuguese reboxing of our latest kit in 1/72 scale, the CASA C-212 which is scheduled for a December release, will contain two Cartograf printed decal sheets. The first one (see here ) brings rather common method printed set of stencils and markings for two machines, while the other benefits from a litho printing process to bring you really nice reproduction of the colourful anniversary tail arts which adorned the two Portuguese machines.

SH72370 H.A.L. Ajeet Mk.I ‘Indian Light Fighter’ - closer look at the new kit available in Bratislava

Image
The H.A.L. Ajeet was an Indian-bulit licence version of the British Folland Gnat light jet aircraft. The Indian Air Force used the Ajeet during several conflicts with Pakistan.    Our model of the Ajeet is produced using steel moulding blocks and comes on three grey styrene sprues and one of clear plastic. The model box also contains a full-colour instructions and expertly printed decals from Italian Cartograf which cater for four eye catching camouflage options.   This model is to become available over this weekend in Bratislava, along with two other premiere releases, the 1/72 Casa C-212 and Delta 1D/E.

CMK sets for the 1/72 Hasegawa Nakajima Ki-84 Hayate / Frank kit

Image
A bit older, but still rather nice kit of the Japanese Ki-84 fighter colloquially known as the Hayate or Frank in Allied parlance definitely deserves some upgrade and improvements. Our colleagues from CMK studio have prepared four nicely detailed resin sets to accompany the Hasegawa kit.    CMK 129-7374 contains complete interior, 129-7375 brings fuselage and wing armament, 129-7376 offers the rudder, tailplanes with elevators and also the ailerons. And in Quick& Easy line set no. 129-Q72288 the modeller will find a better pilot’s seat.    All the aforementioned sets will be available over the weekend at Bratislavska Zima or right now via our e-shop.

SH32065 Fokker D.II in 1/32 - small part mould test shot

Image
All but one component of our slightly delayed  1/32 Fokker D.II project have been already finished, what the kit is waiting for now is just the frame with several smaller items and details. The mould which is to produce this frame needs only very few finishing touches, but this unfortunately prevents us from taking the Fokker with our team to this weekend’s Bratislavska Zima show. Let me say that we are really very sorry for that.    But no need to be sad about it too much, Special Hobby team is going to offer quite a wide range of other products over the weekend in the capital of Slovakia.   And before the kit gets released, do check the final sprue for yourselves in the images below.
