CMK Wheel Sets for the P-51D Mustang

   As many a modeller might have already noticed, there will be, among others, also four new wheel sets for the new 1/32 Revell P-51D kit in the CMK range of highly detailed resin sets. What makes these sets quite uniqe is the fact that each of them have the wheels with completely different tread pattern style tyres. The sets (CMK 5124, 5125, 5126 and 5127) are to be out on the market in no time.

   In this scale, CMK has on offer similar sets tailored also for the P-51D kits of other main brands, namely Dragon, Tamiya and Trumpeter (CMK Q32161, Q32162, Q32182 and Q32183). The rear hubs are made separate with different mounting to the gear legs of these producers.
  And if you happen to be into another scale? Do not despair, there are these same wheel sets for 1/48 scale too, see items CMK Q48178, Q48179, Q48180 and Q48181 and of course we cannot omit the 1/72 scale loving amongst you, check sets CMK Q72169, Q72170, Q72171.

Despite some chaos in the organisation before the start of the fair, we can say we are quite satisfied with our participation and the fair itself. Dear Business Friends,    In the September instalment of Special Hobby Newsletter, you are going to read about only one large scale model, the 1/32 Fiat G.50bis that comes in the bomber and navalized versions. Very first 2023 surprise for you from SH - the 1/72 F-84F Thunderstreak aka Super Hog

   2023 holds several surprises for you up its sleeve and the very first one is here today, the 1/72 scale F-84F Thunderstreak. This swept wing jet, alongside its predecessor the F-84F Thunderjet (straight winged) is no doubt one of the symbols of the Cold War early stages. And also an iconit jet of the NATO defence alliance. The USAF operated their Thunderstreaks, also affectively known as Super Hogs, both in the USA and over Europe. In the UK, the 20th TBW USAF F-84F jets were also fitted with a special underwing rack that enabled them to carry and deliver a tactical nuke. Deliveries of the F-84F made the Europe's air forces, from the very north down to the southern NATO flank, much stronger and effective and the jet kept flying from mid 1950s up to the early 70s and with some forces even longer.
