SN72004 CV 707 Vesikko in 1/72 - Boxart

Yet one more of Standa's masterpieces - this time something a bit different - a submarine! What you can see in the painting is Finnish CV 707 Vesikko vessel, designed by German specialists working in the Netherlands and built in Finnish shipyard. And in actual fact, she was a prototype of the German U-boot Type II class.

Dear business friends,      The Nuremberg fair is over now. Despite some chaos in the organisation before the start of the fair, we can say we are quite satisfied with our participation and the fair itself. Dear Business Friends,    In the September instalment of Special Hobby Newsletter, you are going to read about only one large scale model, the 1/32 Fiat G.50bis that comes in the bomber and navalized versions. All the other model kits are in 1/72 scale, and these are the P-40N fighter that sports very attractive schemes, really very colourful inter-war B-12A bomber as well as the re-issue of our 1/72 scale SMB.2 French jet fighter.    The detailing sets for this month contain the third set for our 1/48 SF-260 nice little kit (the two previous sets became available last month), the most interesting of the new sets is the wide variety of new details for ICM's 1/48 scale B-26B Marauder kit.
