CMK sets for Eduard's brand new 1/48 Hawker Tempest Mk.V
Eduard's new 1/48 Hawker Tempest is a real beauty that builds almost itself to a superb replica of the iconic fighter aeroplane. More discerning modeller will, however, definitely seek ways to improve this model a bit further. And so here come our precisely designed resin detail sets, not in the slightest less terrific than the kit itself.
The first set we want to mention now is no.4393 Tempest Napier Sabre engine (upper half) which, like the similarly designed 1/32 set known from our Hi-Tech release of SH's Tempest simply enables the model builder to show the power plant while retaining the aeroplane's profile undisturbed.
To make your model even more life-like, why not open the fuselage tank compartment using set no.4394 Tempest Fuselage Fuel and Oil Tanks. As those tanks were often left in their deep reddish primer, they will stand out nicely and make for a perfect eye-catcher in your display case.
And finally, enliven your model with F48355 Tempest Pilot (seated) figure which comes cast with the seat in situ and oozes with a splendid detail overall. Oh yes, to let the cat out of bag, you can look forward to a similar set for the P-51D Mustang...
