SH48203 Grunau Baby IIB built by Martin Pfeifer

The Grunau Baby is one of Special Hobby's latest releases, it first appeared on hobby shop shelves only this month. The model is completely 3D designed and is produced using metal moulding tools. The surface detail is very crisp and as Martin says, the parts fit like a glove. His Baby was built over a very few days, while he was also building the JLTV and begun to build the Sunderland. The images below illustrate both his effort and the content of the box.

Despite some chaos in the organisation before the start of the fair, we can say we are quite satisfied with our participation and the fair itself. Dear Business Friends,    In the September instalment of Special Hobby Newsletter, you are going to read about only one large scale model, the 1/32 Fiat G.50bis that comes in the bomber and navalized versions. All the other model kits are in 1/72 scale, and these are the P-40N fighter that sports very attractive schemes, really very colourful inter-war B-12A bomber as well as the re-issue of our 1/72 scale SMB.2 French jet fighter.    The detailing sets for this month contain the third set for our 1/48 SF-260 nice little kit (the two previous sets became available last month), the most interesting of the new sets is the wide variety of new details for ICM's 1/48 scale B-26B Marauder kit.
