Beaufighter Mk.IIF - upcoming 1/72 and 1/48 converison sets

The sole production Beaufighter version to have flown being powered by in-line Merlin engines were the Mk.IIFs. However, the model kit companies tend to produce just the widely used, Hercules radial powerplant equipped versions. So, all those of you tempted to have something unusual in your collection beware of these upcoming resin sets. They are designed to fit the 1/72 Airfix kit, the 1/48 set is made for the Revell kit. There are going to be two sets in each scale, one with the earlier style of the exhausts - set Baufighter Mk.IIF ‘Early Exhausts’ Conversion Set and the other one called the Beaufighter Mk.IIF ‘Late Exhausts’ Conversion Set. The difference obviously being in the nacelles and exhaust type, but the colour schemes and decal sheets will differ too.
