SH72270 Tachikawa Ki-54 Hei /Hickory 1/72 - small parts mould in the making

    The sleek-looking twin engine Ki-54 aeroplane saw the service with the Japanese military in four basic varieties. And not only did it fly with the Japs, it went on flying with the military of a couple more nations over the course or after the war, so you could see it bearing the markings of France, the USA or China. This is no secret that Special Hobby have been working on this project for some time already, now we can tell you that all the large moulding blocks are finished and we just need to crack on with the small parts mould now. And in the images below, you can witness the progress.... Enjoy.

Dear business friends,      The Nuremberg fair is over now. Despite some chaos in the organisation before the start of the fair, we can say we are quite satisfied with our participation and the fair itself. Dear Business Friends,    In the September instalment of Special Hobby Newsletter, you are going to read about only one large scale model, the 1/32 Fiat G.50bis that comes in the bomber and navalized versions. All the other model kits are in 1/72 scale, and these are the P-40N fighter that sports very attractive schemes, really very colourful inter-war B-12A bomber as well as the re-issue of our 1/72 scale SMB.2 French jet fighter.    The detailing sets for this month contain the third set for our 1/48 SF-260 nice little kit (the two previous sets became available last month), the most interesting of the new sets is the wide variety of new details for ICM's 1/48 scale B-26B Marauder kit.
