The Focke Wulf Fw 189 theme in 1/72 scale models and sets

Model kits of the Focke Wulf Fw 189 has already been offered by Special Hobby for a rather long time. The kit is produced from galvano-plated moulds and over the time, we released the type in several versions from the Fw 189A-1, Fw 189A-1 ‘Night Fighter’, Fw 189A-2, Fw 189B to the Fw 189C. At first, the kits were release under the Condor brand name, then MPM Production, finally as Special Hobby kits. What is currently available on this topic can be seen in the today's photos, as almost always shot by Ondrej Hajek. You may notice that some of the sets are designed to fit the ICM kits, but there is absolutely no trouble using them with our models, too.

   2023 holds several surprises for you up its sleeve and the very first one is here today, the 1/72 scale F-84F Thunderstreak. Dear business friends,     February is over, March is here and with it also comes our third newsletter of the year. If I can look back on February, it was quite atypical. While it wasn't snowing here in the Czech Republic, Russian fighter bombers were falling down over Ukraine. As a skiing lover, I hope for winters full of snow. I also hope for a sky without Russian bombers over Ukraine. It would certainly be better if people in Ukraine could live in peace without Russian bombs and missiles. And also make models. Like ICM for example. Last month we offered you an interior set for the 1/35 AH-1G Cobra helicopter model kit by this company. Dear business friends,      The Nuremberg fair is over now. Despite some chaos in the organisation before the start of the fair, we can say we are quite satisfied with our participation and the fair itself. Compared to last year, the first post-covid year, the exhibitors were much more plentiful this year. Many more traders and distributors also arrived at the meeting. So we practically did not have the chance to stop for a while. This, of course, filled us with optimism as it was nice to meet you all in person. When I write about personal meetings, I was most impressed by meetings with colleagues from Ukrainian companies. War is terrible. It's one thing to watch it from the comfort of your home on TV news, and another to hear about personal experience with Russian missile and drone attacks on civilian targets.
