Nuremberg Online - Day Five

 


The usual Fair Sunday is not a day for kicking back and taking some (though well deserved) rest. Now, as it is not a real fair, our team changed the routine and put a bit of a update a day later. The topic for today's instalment is the model we have heard many of you gosipping for rather long time. Yep it is the 1/72 Mirage IIICJ, model no SH72352. The first sprue is alread out and checked, our team is now moving onto another two sprues, namely the clear parts sprue and sprue B. No images yet but we are actually proud to be able to share with you the exquisite painting made by our fab Standa Hájek. 


And as we are totally serious about our mass produced 3D printed sets, enjoy the following photos illustrating our March new release, the 1/35 P35004 Luftschutz Helmet (2pcs). In the sets, the printed helmets are accompanied by etched straps and a small sheet of decals.

   2023 holds several surprises for you up its sleeve and the very first one is here today, the 1/72 scale F-84F Thunderstreak. Dear business friends,     February is over, March is here and with it also comes our third newsletter of the year. If I can look back on February, it was quite atypical. While it wasn't snowing here in the Czech Republic, Russian fighter bombers were falling down over Ukraine. As a skiing lover, I hope for winters full of snow. I also hope for a sky without Russian bombers over Ukraine. It would certainly be better if people in Ukraine could live in peace without Russian bombs and missiles. And also make models. Like ICM for example. Last month we offered you an interior set for the 1/35 AH-1G Cobra helicopter model kit by this company. In this newsletter you will find another set for this model and we are preparing more for the following months. The sets will combine resin cast parts with 3D-printed ones. News from Special Hobby 02/2024

Dear business friends,      The Nuremberg fair is over now. Despite some chaos in the organisation before the start of the fair, we can say we are quite satisfied with our participation and the fair itself. Compared to last year, the first post-covid year, the exhibitors were much more plentiful this year. Many more traders and distributors also arrived at the meeting. So we practically did not have the chance to stop for a while. This, of course, filled us with optimism as it was nice to meet you all in person. When I write about personal meetings, I was most impressed by meetings with colleagues from Ukrainian companies. War is terrible. It's one thing to watch it from the comfort of your home on TV news, and another to hear about personal experience with Russian missile and drone attacks on civilian targets. Working and creating kits in such conditions is extremely difficult. I hope that Ukraine will receive much more aid than it is receiving today and that European politicians
