1/72 Gloster Meteor T Mk 7.5 - as built and finished by YoavEfrati

 Mr.Yoav Efrati of Israel was so kind to send us a few photos depicting his recently finished SH72317 Gloster Meteor T Mk 7.5 model. He adds that this Meteor was operated by 110 Tayeset ‘Abirei HaTzafon’ or 110 Sqn Knights of the North of the Israeli Air Force, in the mid 1960s, when these ex-British twin jets were used for pilot training before the crews went on to more modern Vautour jets. The model in today's images is just a tiny part of Mr.Efraty's realy huge collection of IAF kits, and it is expected that the number of his Meteors will eventually reach as many as ten. We are of course quite eager to see them all. Sincerest thanks go to Israel.

Dear business friends,      The Nuremberg fair is over now. Despite some chaos in the organisation before the start of the fair, we can say we are quite satisfied with our participation and the fair itself. Dear Business Friends,    In the September instalment of Special Hobby Newsletter, you are going to read about only one large scale model, the 1/32 Fiat G.50bis that comes in the bomber and navalized versions. All the other model kits are in 1/72 scale, and these are the P-40N fighter that sports very attractive schemes, really very colourful inter-war B-12A bomber as well as the re-issue of our 1/72 scale SMB.2 French jet fighter.    The detailing sets for this month contain the third set for our 1/48 SF-260 nice little kit (the two previous sets became available last month), the most interesting of the new sets is the wide variety of new details for ICM's 1/48 scale B-26B Marauder kit.
