M48005 AH-1G Cobra Mask in 1/48 - first of the accessory sets

So, the Cobra is almost here!  The long-waited-for AH-1G Cobra kit (SH48202) dubbed ‘Spanish & IDF/AF Cobras’ is scheduled for this March release, among a couple of other nice and tempting models of course. And at the very same time, Special Hobby are releasing the first of the accessory sets designed for this model, which is the pre-cut masks no.M48005. As you can see now, the masks are not just designed, they are also actually very meticulously tested for the best possible fit. What is also interesting and useful for the modeller, these masks not only contain the usual outside pieces, they come with pre-cut items for the inside of the clear canopy parts, too. Well, the Cobra greenhouse is rather largish so careful painting using the masks will be worth the effort. The clear canopy doors as kitted in the model can also be very easily portrayed in the open position.
