Under the RAF Wings in the Second Exile -

   In our blog, we usually report on our own new products or present the work of modellers who build our kits. Today, as the exception confirming the rule, we have something completely different. About a fortnight ago, Plastic Planet editor and a friend of mine mentioned a newly published book which he thought I might probably like. Well, he was not right in saying I only might like it, I am absolutely astonished by the publication - and I would like to send my huge thank you to the authors, Zdenek Hurt and Jan Railich. Writing the book clearly required enormous amount of work for unimaginably long time. Hats off, really! This A4-sized book brings many new information both in the text and the photographs. Until now, nothing similar has appeared dealing with the topic of post-1948 Czechoslovak pilots in the RAF.

   We are definitely going to use this exceptional book for preparing our new models and I dare say we won't be the only one. I am so very much looking forward to the next volume or perhaps volumes. I have to say I cannot recommend the book enough to all who are interested in the history of the Czechoslovak aviation.
