SH72438 Short Sunderland Mk.I/II ‘The Flying Porcupine’ in 1/72 - box contents

The Short Sunderland, an iconic flying boat also known as the flying porcupine due to its many machine guns firing in almost any direction and thus resembling the spikes of that animal, is one of our new subjects released this March. The kit, cat no. SH72438 offers four marking schemes, quite a lot of styrene sprues (13 to be precise), resin cast exhausts and 3D-printed propeller hubs (as these could not keep the level of details if produced in styrene, and if resin cast, the pouring blocks would be tedious to cut off, so we feel the direct print is the best option for the modeller).
