SH72406 Piaggio P.108B Quadrimotore as built by J. Šimon

   Last Friday, two members of the Merry Model Builders Club paid a visit to SH and brought along their latest efforts so our photographer could take a few pictures. Today, we are happy to be able to share with you the first of the two models, the Piaggion P.108 as built by Jan Simon. The other model is a record-breaking Meteor jet by Milan Zach, but we will leave this one for sometimes later.
   The Piaggio P.108  was the sole Italian four-engined bomber aeroplane to see the military service during the Second World War. The model of this beast has recently been re-issued and now also contains a new sprue with a few correction parts and some resin parts as well. The model is now available under cat.no. SH72406. The photos below do show very well that the model is really a huge affair and Jan Simon has finished it rather beautifuly...

Dear business friends,     February is over, March is here and with it also comes our third newsletter of the year. If I can look back on February, it was quite atypical. While it wasn't snowing here in the Czech Republic, Russian fighter bombers were falling down over Ukraine. As a skiing lover, I hope for winters full of snow. I also hope for a sky without Russian bombers over Ukraine. It would certainly be better if people in Ukraine could live in peace without Russian bombs and missiles. And also make models. Like ICM for example. Last month we offered you an interior set for the 1/35 AH-1G Cobra helicopter model kit by this company. In this newsletter you will find another set for this model and we are preparing more for the following months. The sets will combine resin cast parts with 3D-printed ones. Dear business friends,      The Nuremberg fair is over now. Despite some chaos in the organisation before the start of the fair, we can say we are quite satisfied with our participation and the fair itself. Compared to last year, the first post-covid year, the exhibitors were much more plentiful this year. Many more traders and distributors also arrived at the meeting. So we practically did not have the chance to stop for a while. This, of course, filled us with optimism as it was nice to meet you all in person. When I write about personal meetings, I was most impressed by meetings with colleagues from Ukrainian companies. War is terrible. It's one thing to watch it from the comfort of your home on TV news, and another to hear about personal experience with Russian missile and drone attacks on civilian targets. Working and creating kits in such conditions is extremely difficult. I hope that Ukraine will receive much more aid than it is receiving today and that European politicians
