SH72450 AT-6C/D & SNJ-3/3C Texan ‘Training to Win’ in 1/72 - box contents

The model presented here today is the second one of our Texan reboxings with the promise of more to come. While the first Texan box released under Special Hobby label portrayed its British variety, the Harvard, now we have focused on US war time Texan airframes. The release, cat.no. SH72450 is dubbed AT-6C/D & SNJ-3/3C Texan ‘Training to Win’ and offers no less than six various machines, three of which belonged to the US Navy/Marines and the other three were operated by the USAAF (well, three various guises, but in fact just two machines). So as you can see, plenty to chose from indeed.

Let us mention once again the original Academy kit has got the quite needed detail boost in the form of a new clear parts sprue and a wide range of resin parts to portray all the various features of these different versions. And yes a fret of etches is also included.
