SH72395 F-84F Thunderstreak in 1/72 - improved testshots

A month ago you could witness the unveiling of our latest major project, the 1/72 SH72395 F-84F Thunderstreak kit where the first batch of test shots was also shown to the readers of this blog. Even though as it seems the test shots were generally liked very much, there were still some more or less important bugs to get fixed. And now we are so lucky indeed that we are able to bring you the second set of the F-84F testshots with almost all of the imperfections already taken care of.
   Today's photos do not have the complete sprues covered, there are here to show you the details that required the attention of our toolmakers. While the clear parts got properly polished, the undecarriage bays got the required details, some parts lacked panel and rivet lines and also the sprues now carry the part numbers and sprue letters. And as we have also finished the test build from these second shots, we can now say that the release date is not very much distant really.

   2023 holds several surprises for you up its sleeve and the very first one is here today, the 1/72 scale F-84F Thunderstreak. Dear business friends,     February is over, March is here and with it also comes our third newsletter of the year. If I can look back on February, it was quite atypical. While it wasn't snowing here in the Czech Republic, Russian fighter bombers were falling down over Ukraine. As a skiing lover, I hope for winters full of snow. I also hope for a sky without Russian bombers over Ukraine. It would certainly be better if people in Ukraine could live in peace without Russian bombs and missiles. And also make models. Like ICM for example. Last month we offered you an interior set for the 1/35 AH-1G Cobra helicopter model kit by this company. Dear business friends,      The Nuremberg fair is over now. Despite some chaos in the organisation before the start of the fair, we can say we are quite satisfied with our participation and the fair itself. Compared to last year, the first post-covid year, the exhibitors were much more plentiful this year. Many more traders and distributors also arrived at the meeting. So we practically did not have the chance to stop for a while. This, of course, filled us with optimism as it was nice to meet you all in person. When I write about personal meetings, I was most impressed by meetings with colleagues from Ukrainian companies. War is terrible. It's one thing to watch it from the comfort of your home on TV news, and another to hear about personal experience with Russian missile and drone attacks on civilian targets.
