SH48237 Grunau Baby IIB in 1/48 - new boxing to be released
The Grunau Baby IIB is arguably one of the most important glider designs of the pre-war period. And definitely the one produced in the largest numbers. Its mass production had started already before the war, went on throughout the war years and was renewed in some countries even after 1945.
The boxing with post-war Grunau gliders as flown in Britain, France and Spain (SH48203) was already released, now we plan to make a new boxing that would cover finishes worn by German Baby IIB airframes and some of those from the German satellites. We will also have a new mask set for you, no. M48017 that is designed to help you to paint easily and quickly the wood and fabric construction of the wings and empennage.
