The very first Griffon Seafires - SH48233 Seafire XV - a quick look into the box
The Griffon engine was originally developed for the Navy. However, during the war time, these powerful engines found their way to Spitfires and it was only after the war that the Seafires got them, too. So, today's model presents the variety that did not enjoy any success against the enemy. That said, no one can say these Seafires are any less elegant than other members of the family. Our kit also prides itself with a pair of interesting schemes, one as flown with the British navy with one outer wing panel replaced and thus having different colours of the scheme and national markings. The second option is a Canadian airframe with a bit unusual colour scheme and the Maple Leaves markings. Model no SH48233 is among our August new releases.
