SH72402  SH89 / CASA C.212 ASW & Maritime Patrol

The CASA C.212 is a Spanish turboprop-powered STOL cargo aircraft that has seen service with a wide range of countries and flew in many different roles, one of them being maritime surveillance and patrol. Machines fitted for this sort of tasks carry radar antennae in distinctive, duck beak like shaped radomes at the front of the fuselage as well as some more electronics equipment within the airframe.

Despite some chaos in the organisation before the start of the fair, we can say we are quite satisfied with our participation and the fair itself. Dear Business Friends,    In the September instalment of Special Hobby Newsletter, you are going to read about only one large scale model, the 1/32 Fiat G.50bis that comes in the bomber and navalized versions. All the other model kits are in 1/72 scale, and these are the P-40N fighter that sports very attractive schemes, really very colourful inter-war B-12A bomber as well as the re-issue of our 1/72 scale SMB.2 French jet fighter.    The detailing sets for this month contain the third set for our 1/48 SF-260 nice little kit (the two previous sets became available last month), the most interesting of the new sets is the wide variety of new details for ICM's 1/48 scale B-26B Marauder kit.
