IMAM (Romeo) Ro.37bis in 1/48 (SH48185) – coming this summer


Are you wondering what our next release model originating in ex-Classic Airframes moulds would be? Then you are at the right moment at the right place! The model to have a go now is the IMAM (Romeo) Ro.37bis and it is not a mere reboxing of the original kit as there are several new parts added into this release, namely the engine, engine cowling as well as the cockpit. These items have been adapted from our earlier 3D files used for the Ro.43 kit. And on top of that, the resin parts have been also made all-new using 3D technology.
The kit´s camouflage options and decal sheet will try to cover the plane´s diverse service throughout the world which began in the Spanish Civil War on Franco´s side, went on during WW2 under the colours of fascist Italy and found it´s final days in the hands of Italian Co-belligerent Air Force (cooperating with the Allies). We also could not forget the export success of the type, one of the camouflage options brings marking of the Uruguayan Air Force.
The kit has been scheduled for summer 2017 release.

Dear business friends,     February is over, March is here and with it also comes our third newsletter of the year. If I can look back on February, it was quite atypical. While it wasn't snowing here in the Czech Republic, Russian fighter bombers were falling down over Ukraine. As a skiing lover, I hope for winters full of snow. I also hope for a sky without Russian bombers over Ukraine. It would certainly be better if people in Ukraine could live in peace without Russian bombs and missiles. And also make models. Like ICM for example. Last month we offered you an interior set for the 1/35 AH-1G Cobra helicopter model kit by this company. Dear business friends,      The Nuremberg fair is over now. Despite some chaos in the organisation before the start of the fair, we can say we are quite satisfied with our participation and the fair itself. Compared to last year, the first post-covid year, the exhibitors were much more plentiful this year. Many more traders and distributors also arrived at the meeting. So we practically did not have the chance to stop for a while. This, of course, filled us with optimism as it was nice to meet you all in person. When I write about personal meetings, I was most impressed by meetings with colleagues from Ukrainian companies. War is terrible. It's one thing to watch it from the comfort of your home on TV news, and another to hear about personal experience with Russian missile and drone attacks on civilian targets.
