  SAAB SK-37E Stör-Viggen ‘Electronic Warfare Aggressor’ 1/72 100-SH72540 The SAAB 37 Viggen is an aircraft that was ahead of its time. The unorthodox solutions chosen by its designers not only enabled the Viggen to meet the requirements placed upon it, but also to exceed them in certain areas. The Swedish Air Force ordered the Viggen in several versions, with the basic model serving as a versatile platform that, when equipped with specialized gear, could be used in multiple roles. The first of seven prototypes built took off on February 8, 1967, piloted by E. Dalsröm. Its electronic equipment was among the best in the world at the time; the Viggen was the first aircraft to feature a built-in computer with integrated circuits.
