The upcoming new reboxing of Special Hobby's neat little Emil is called ‘Hit and Run Raiders’, a kit with cat.no.SH72474 Messerschmitt Bf 109E-1/B and it covers three finish options. Two machines depicted in the kit set were flown in ground attack and bombing missions against the UK in 1940, the third of the machines took part in the attack against Greece. And what is it tha makes this reboxing so very different from the previous E-1s? Yes, the resin cast 4xETC 50 bomb carrier unit with its four SC 50 bombs - as you can see also at the bottom on the scrap view coming from the instructions. The kit is to be available this February.

 Patrick Branly, a French modeller and a good friend is the author of these photos and models, which are three of his 1/72 Vampires built from various Special Hobby kits. The Mk.I version wearing RAF markings has been built from the  SH72383  kit, the Swedish J-28A Vampire  is a scheme that can be found in the  SH72339  boxing and the last one, with the 'avocado' colours of the Mexico air force comes from the  SH72453  kit. Now we are so very happy to have for you the latest batch of photos sent by Jaroslav Supik portraying his recently built  Bf 109E-1  model. As Jaroslav says the model came to life from a few various sources, the Simple Set or Overtrees sprues, Eduard-printed decals, Aires pilot's seat and Eduard resin cast wheels. So, again, very big thank you Jaroslav for the images!

The  1/48 SH48227 Airspeed Oxford Mk.I ‘Gunnery Trainer’ is among the Q1/2023 new releases and its marking schemes and decals cover four options, all of which were fitted with a dorsal gun turret. Three of the machines were operated in war times by the RAF, RCAF and the RNZAF, the fourth machine flew after the war wearing colourful scheme of the RNoAF. 

The whole (almost) family of the Bolo kits has returned to our offer now as some of the missing components have been injected enabling the kits to be completed and restocked. These are as follows:  SH72095 B-18 Bolo ‘Pre War Service’, SH72228 B-18A Bolo, the anti-submarine variety  SH72230 B-18B Bolo ‘ASW Version’ and the Canadian  SH72251 Digby Mk.I ‘Bolo in Canadian Service’, all of them in 1/72. The last one mentioned also contains machines flown by Czech crews. And what member of the Bolo family are we still waiting for? It is the SH72265 B-18 Bolo ‘WWII Service’, that is to be re-released only when its decal sheets arrive from the printers.
