PLT270 Miles Libellula in 1/48 - built by James Hatch (UK)

The Libellula (model PLT267 available via our e-shop) was already presented in our blog some time ago, although in 1/72 scale. Now, let's take a look at its a bit larger counterpart, the Libellula in 48th scale. This model, cat.no. PLT270 has been desingned, as well as the 72nd scale one, using 35 technology and the master patterns were printed on a 3D printer.  The undercarriage legs are made of white metal, the clear canopy is vakuum formed. The decal sheets offers markings for the sole prototype of this rather unorthodox-looking machine. The midel shown in the photos below was nicely built by James Hatch. Thanks a lot, Jim!

Dear business friends,     February is over, March is here and with it also comes our third newsletter of the year. If I can look back on February, it was quite atypical. While it wasn't snowing here in the Czech Republic, Russian fighter bombers were falling down over Ukraine. As a skiing lover, I hope for winters full of snow. I also hope for a sky without Russian bombers over Ukraine. It would certainly be better if people in Ukraine could live in peace without Russian bombs and missiles. And also make models. Like ICM for example. Last month we offered you an interior set for the 1/35 AH-1G Cobra helicopter model kit by this company. Dear business friends,      The Nuremberg fair is over now. Despite some chaos in the organisation before the start of the fair, we can say we are quite satisfied with our participation and the fair itself. Compared to last year, the first post-covid year, the exhibitors were much more plentiful this year. Many more traders and distributors also arrived at the meeting. So we practically did not have the chance to stop for a while. This, of course, filled us with optimism as it was nice to meet you all in person. When I write about personal meetings, I was most impressed by meetings with colleagues from Ukrainian companies. War is terrible. It's one thing to watch it from the comfort of your home on TV news, and another to hear about personal experience with Russian missile and drone attacks on civilian targets.
