SH72443 Messerschmitt Bf 109E-3 - Jan Simon builds his second Mess, now with CMK sets

This is the second one of the two Messerschmitt Bf 109E models recently built by Jan Šimon. This time he has chosen to finish it as the E-3 version airframe flown by Josef ‘Pips’ Priller. The kitset used by Jan was the second released by Special Hobby, SH72433 Messerschmitt Bf 109E-3. The kit offers as many as five paint schemes, four of which were flown by Luftwaffe ace pilots. The side profiles can be seen in an earlier installment of SH blog here. There is already quite a large range of various resin detail sets available for these Messerschmit kits. Jan has taken two of them, Wing Guns 7457 and FuG VII Radio Equipment 7458 to make the look of his model even more captivating. Dear business friends,     February is over, March is here and with it also comes our third newsletter of the year. If I can look back on February, it was quite atypical. While it wasn't snowing here in the Czech Republic, Russian fighter bombers were falling down over Ukraine. As a skiing lover, I hope for winters full of snow. I also hope for a sky without Russian bombers over Ukraine. It would certainly be better if people in Ukraine could live in peace without Russian bombs and missiles. And also make models. Like ICM for example. Last month we offered you an interior set for the 1/35 AH-1G Cobra helicopter model kit by this company. Dear business friends,      The Nuremberg fair is over now. Despite some chaos in the organisation before the start of the fair, we can say we are quite satisfied with our participation and the fair itself. Compared to last year, the first post-covid year, the exhibitors were much more plentiful this year. Many more traders and distributors also arrived at the meeting. So we practically did not have the chance to stop for a while. This, of course, filled us with optimism as it was nice to meet you all in person. When I write about personal meetings, I was most impressed by meetings with colleagues from Ukrainian companies. War is terrible. It's one thing to watch it from the comfort of your home on TV news, and another to hear about personal experience with Russian missile and drone attacks on civilian targets.
