Bare-teethed serpent - 1/48 AH1G Cobra finished by Robert Szwarc

Today we have for you this very nice set of photos kindly shared by Robert Szwarc, the author of the 1/48 Cobra model depicted here. It is built from SH48230 AH-1G Cobra Hi-tech kit which offers an interesting selection of four dangerously-looking schemes. Robert has picked scheme D, a shark-mouthed airframe dubbed Gladiator as flown by WO1 Dan Shaver. Our huge thank you for the photos, Robert!

Dear business friends,      The Nuremberg fair is over now. Despite some chaos in the organisation before the start of the fair, we can say we are quite satisfied with our participation and the fair itself. Compared to last year, the first post-covid year, the exhibitors were much more plentiful this year. Many more traders and distributors also arrived at the meeting. Dear Business Friends,    In the September instalment of Special Hobby Newsletter, you are going to read about only one large scale model, the 1/32 Fiat G.50bis that comes in the bomber and navalized versions. All the other model kits are in 1/72 scale, and these are the P-40N fighter that sports very attractive schemes, really very colourful inter-war B-12A bomber as well as the re-issue of our 1/72 scale SMB.2 French jet fighter.    The detailing sets for this month contain the third set for our 1/48 SF-260 nice little kit (the two previous sets became available last month), the most interesting of the new sets is the wide variety of new details for ICM's 1/48 scale B-26B Marauder kit.
