Dear business friends,    Last time I wrote the 1/48 SH48238 SMB-2 Super Mystère 'Sa'ar – Israeli Storm in the Sky' kit got back on offer again. Now I might mention that the SH48238 seems to be disappearing like snow in summer. It's great that you are so interested in this kit. We are doing our best to keep the model available. It is possible that the kit will have short-term outages in our offer. If that happens, then for a very limited time period only.    This newsletter brings two reissues, the 72402 SH-89 / CASA C.212 'ASW & Maritime Patrol' kit and the 32067 SH32067 Yak-3 'Normandie-Niemen' HI-TECH kit. Among the accessories you will find masks for the new great 1/48 SF-260 model and a mask for the new 1/72 DB-7 by Azur/Frrom. There are also cast accessories for the 1/48 SF-260. We have also prepared a 3D printed ladder for the aforementioned SMB-2. We prepared the same ladder, but in 1/72 scale, for the forthcoming re-edition of the SH72345 SMB-2 Super Mystère 'Sa'ar – Israeli Storm in the Sky' kit in a smaller scale. The excellent 3D printed wheels for Tamiya’s 1/35 Zündapp KS 600 also deserve to be highlighted.     We are still missing a few moulds for the SN72007 Kriegsfischkutter kit, but we are working hard on it. In 1/32 scale we are working on the AH-1Q/S kit. This will include the AH-1G moldings (the ICM kit we have collaborated on) and our new styrene sprues with the Cobra Q/S version differential parts. Decals will be offered for US Army, Turkish and Israeli Air Force machines. We are also working on 1/72 Fairey Albacore and DH Mosquito kits and other projects. From September, our offer will gradually include sets for the 1/48 B-26 B/C Marauder, as well as ejection seats for modern American fighters aircraft. A. Riedel SPECIAL HOBBY PLASTIC MODEL KITS

Yakovlev Yak-3 ‘Normandie-Niemen’ HI-TECH  1/32 (Re-issue) Art.no. Scale Barcode 100-SH32067 1/32 8594071085599   Three aircraft types seem to have been competing of the imaginary ‘best WW2 fighter’ title, the Hawker Tempest, P-51D Mustang, which were flying on the Western Front, and the third one is an aircraft of a completely different concept, a light weight, Soviet-built and highly manoeuvrable fighter, the Yak-3. And at least, this one can be called the very best of the Eastern Front. It was made famous not just by Soviet fighter pilots, but also by those flying with the Normandy-Niemen regiment. This French unit fought over the Eastern Front from 1944 until the end of war and it was the Yak-3 type that they used, and even kept using after the war when the French pilots got back home. And successfully they fought as can also be seen by the numerous victory markings painted behind the cockpits of their machines.    The Hi-Tech format decal sheet covers five of the Normandy-Niemen airframes all of which carry their iconic lightning markings on the fuselage sides. Four of the machines were flown by ace pilots including the very best of them Lt.Marcel Albert. The kit comes on three grey styrene sprues, one with clear parts. The Hi-Tech format is achieved by the extra parts as the resin cast exhausts, undercarriage wheels, both the main ones and the tail one, machine gun breech details, wireless and machine gun barrel ends. SH 89 / CASA C.212 'ASW & Maritime Patrol' 1/72  (Re-issue) Art.no. Scale Barcode 100-SH72402 1/72 8594071087166    The C.212 is a Spanish turbo-prop powered STOL-category aircraft that can be seen flying in many various roles including patrol missions over the sea.
