A Legend on Four Wheels: Zetor 25

The Zetor 25 made history as one of the first industrial products of post-war Czechoslovakia—and the very first tractor produced by the Zetor company. Between its launch in 1946 and the end of production in 1961, nearly 160,000 units were manufactured. Around 100,000 of those were exported across Europe and even as far as Asia.

But the Zetor 25 wasn’t just a workhorse in the fields. It also served a vital role in the military, where it was frequently used to tow aircraft—particularly MiG-15 and MiG-17 fighter jets.

This highly detailed resin model is a real treat for model builders. It comes with photo-etched parts, decals, and a 3D-printed tow bar designed specifically for connecting to MiG aircraft, making it perfect for creating an authentic diorama.

Dear business friends,   In this Special Hobby‘s April newsletter you will find three plastic kits, each in a different scale. These are the X-15A-2 in 1/32 scale. IMAM/Romeo Ro.57bis in 1/48 scale and Blackburn Roc Mk.I in 1/72 scale. Unfortunately, the promised 1/72 SN72007 Kriegsfischkutter ‘WWII German Patrol and Minesweeper Ship’ kit is missing from the newsletter, or rather you will find it among the May news. Due to the interplay of many circumstances, we had to postpone the release of the ‘KFK’ by a month. Thanks to these circumstances, the final work on the upcoming 1/72 Mosquito kits is also time-consuming. Dear Business Friends,    You are about to read the very last Special Hobby Newsletter in the year 2024. It has been released a bit in advance so we could deliver your orders in time before the Christmas holidays.
