Lysander Stub Wing Stores - and not just for the Lizzie

Beside conversion sets 4495, 4497 and exhausts P48039, we would also like to tempt you for something to hang on the Lizzie's stub wing. Airborn Sea Rescue (ASR) set 4500 is already available as is Bomb Ordnance set 4501 which offers two styles (early/late) of the 250lb GP bombs along with eight smaller HE bomblets. In a few days we are also releasing set 4502 named Lysander Practice Bombs offering eight smallish bombs on their series carrier (as the smaller rack was called back in the time) and these parts directly replace the styrene parts of the Airfix kit and of course, offer much better detail all around. In the pipeline for the 1/48 Lysander kit is also a trio of machine gun sets, with the Vickers, Lewis and Browning twin respectively. If you haven't started to build your Lizzie yet, you might consider some rather straightforward wing surgery allowing you to display the outer slat sections deployed. This will be made quite easy with our forthcoming Lysander Wing Slats set. More on the guns and slats later, though...
