SH72504 DH.94 Moth Minor Coupé in 1/72 - working on the moulding tool

These pair of photos show very well that this half of the final moulding tool for our upcoming 1/72 DH.94 Moth Minor Coupé, kit no. SH72504 is just a few touches from being finished. And the second one? Just in the process of so called roughing, the first stage of machining the mould cavities.

Heinkel He 177A in 1/48 - not the same old bird

The 1/48 Heinkel He 177A is arguably one of our most asked for models long time out of production. Yes all we might do now is to inject a required number of sprues and restock the model and that would be it. But not, this is not what we aim for. Some of the original moulds have been replaced with new ones which can assure much better quality notable mainly in the smaller parts. The new moulds are 3D machined and the images below show very well the levels of detail this new method brings. This so to speak old-new bird is scheduled for 2023 release.
