Steve's first biplane - Aero Ab-11 Blue Bird coming all the way from the US

Steve lives in the US. Steve is also a modeller. His first experience with making models dates back only to 2020. And now we have here, via SH Facebook, a few images of his first SH model and also his first biplane. This nice rendition of the Czechoslovak Aero Ab-11 is built using SH72471 model kit. Steve writes he uses mostly Tamiya paints but also Mr.Color and Vallejo, decent weathering made with artistic oils. What is surely very interesting - his own hand-made leather-encased rigging. Stunning! And we admire the mat the model stands on. And now Steve writes he is building a cousin to this Blue Bird, the Aero A-11HS in Finnish colours.

Dear Business Friends,    You are about to read the very last Special Hobby Newsletter in the year 2024. It has been released a bit in advance so we could deliver your orders in time before the Christmas holidays.
