SH 89 by Milan Pospíšil

 We received photos from Milan Pospíšil of the SH 89 / CASA C.212 'ASW & Maritime Patrol' model he built. He built it from the SH72402 kit and sent the following text along with the photos: 

Today I finished one of Special Hobby’s new releases. A 1/72-scale model of the Swedish Coast Guard’s CASA C.212. The build took a week, and I didn’t encounter any major problems throughout the entire process. The kit is absolutely perfect; everything fits where it’s supposed to without any modifications. There are no unnecessary flash or excess plastic anywhere. I used putty only on the underside at the joint between the two fuselage halves. For the build, I chose the most challenging of the available camouflage schemes—and, in my opinion, the most beautiful one.

Heinkel He 177A in 1/48 - not the same old bird

The 1/48 Heinkel He 177A is arguably one of our most asked for models long time out of production. Yes all we might do now is to inject a required number of sprues and restock the model and that would be it. But not, this is not what we aim for. Some of the original moulds have been replaced with new ones which can assure much better quality notable mainly in the smaller parts. The new moulds are 3D machined and the images below show very well the levels of detail this new method brings. This so to speak old-new bird is scheduled for 2023 release.
