    Today we have for your readers a new video preview made by Ondra Hajek who shows us the 1/32 kit of the Rumanian IAR-81 BoPi dive bomber aircraft (SH32073). The BoPi was rather interesting version, one of quite a few varieties of the IAR-81 and we dare to say that the model itself is also quite nice.

The Special Hobby team are about to release yet one more of their Curtiss P-40 family of highly accurate and state-of-the-art kits, this time in the form of the M version, kit no. SH72382. The box will offer no less than four colour options, all of which were put to fights against Japan in WW2. There will be two USAAF machines, one RNZAF and one RAAF, the Kiwi machine being that of the NZ top fighter pilot G.Fisken, a Curtiss named the Wairarapa Wildcat. This quartet of combat seasoned machines is joined by a machine wchich flew under Brazil colours, bearing some inscriptions on its airframe.  The moulds for the upcoming Ki-54 Hickory kit are already getting assembled, as you can see in the photos below where the several various cores bit are to be inserted in the main block of metal. 

 Just a couple of days ago, our fabulous Standa Hajek finished his latest masterpiece, the boxart painting for the upcoming SH72454 Messerschmitt Bf 109E-1 ‘Lightly-Armed Emil’ kit in 1/72 scale. The art depicts Bf 109E-1 Red 16 as flown by Oberleutnant Fritz Losigkeit of 2./JG26, who in the period of May to September 1940 downed five RAF aeroplanes. From July the next year until January 1942, he was working in Japan as a member of the military attache staff, doing comparative trial flights between a Bf 109E and its Japanese counterpart fighters. When he returned to Germany in ‘42, Losigkeit find himself flying combat missions again. He also rose in the ranks, becoming the CO of JG51 in 1944. In April 1945 he took over the command of JG77 and on 28 April, he was awarded the Knight's Cross. In total, he would have claimed 68 aerial victories, there are sources however claiming just 51 confirmed. Along with Losigkeit's Emil, there are three more eye-catching schemes in this box.

  On Friday I presented the beautiful painting for our upcoming kit SH72454 Messerschmitt Bf 109E-1 "Lightly-Armed Emil" . I also mentioned that Standa would be sending another painting next week. This painting will be for our upcoming kit SA72024 cannon 3,7 cm PaK 36 "Agerman Anti-tank Gun" in 1/72. Well, next week has just arrived, so behold! I hope you like it as much as I do.   A.R.

A short while ago we added a new resin kit to our Planet Model range - the PLT211 GAL.48 Hotspur 1/48 . Together with Red Roo (AU) we are already working on another one - it will also be a British plane in 1/48 scale. DH.94 Moth Minor came in two versions - one with an open cockpit and the other in the "coupe" version. While Moth Minors with open cockpits flew mostly in Australia, the Coupe version flew mostly in Europe. We will keep this difference in our kits as well. The Coupe version will come with PE parts, a clear resin canopy and with undercarriage legs in white metal.

A new kit was added to our Military Vehicle range - the MV127 Zetor 15  1/72. This resin cast kit comes with PE parts and is already available on our website. The kit was designed in 3D and the master was printed on a 3D printer. We are working also on Zetor 25 in the same scale. We hope you will like it, as well as our upcoming sets. We are now working, among other, on sets for Tamiya's new F-4B Phantom kit in 1/48. Our production is making the wheels for this kit as we speak.
